27/01/2026. Wakefield, UK. The Princess of Wales during a visit to Wakefield Trinity Rugby League club. Her Royal Highness met Marc Lovering, the RFL's Director of Performance and Development. The Princess then joined a session with the In Touch programme, which provides an open space for elderly people within the local community to help tackle social isolation by hosting quizzes, workshops and stadium tours. The Princess also met with young people from Wakefield's Inspiring Futures programme, which supports those who are at risk of anti-social behaviour and youth crime through goal setting, stress management, and teamwork.
