General atmosphere on a sunny day at the Santa Express on The Bunkline at the Cholsey & Wallingford Heritage Railway. Visitors were entertained by Santa's elves, Mother Christmas and would be visited by Father Christmas to receive a present. Before departure adults received a free festive drink and mince pie, and children received a soft drink and a sweet treat from the kiosk. The journey takes approximately an hour travelling through the Oxfordshire countryside and passengers were accompanied throughout by Santa's elves and cheerful team of festive volunteers. The "Guinness train" refers to diesel locomotives, specifically 08 shunters, used at the Cholsey & Wallingford Railway, a heritage line in Oxfordshire, England, that once served the Guinness brewery. These yellow and black industrial shunters, like the famous "Lion" (08022), were acquired from the Park Royal brewery and now run special steam and diesel heritage days for enthusiasts, offering short, scenic trips connecting Cholsey to Wallingford., Credit:Geoffrey Swaine / Avalon
