The new Camino stone which has been unveiled by The Kennet & Avon Canal by The Reading Abbey Ruins. The granite marker, which was shipped from Spain, marks the start of St James' Way, a 70-mile route to the south coast which forms part of the Camino de Santiago network of pilgrimages. They all lead to the shrine of St James in the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, a 690-mile hike from Reading., Credit:Geoffrey Swaine / Avalon
