The Ghost Train at Swanage Railway. The T3 steam train refers to LSWR T3 class locomotive No. 563, a Victorian steam engine that is now a star attraction on the Swanage Railway. It was built in 1893 and, after being withdrawn in 1945, was saved from scrap and fully restored to working order by the Swanage Railway Trust. The locomotive first returned to steam in October 2023 and now runs on heritage services in the Isle of Purbeck, Credit:Geoffrey Swaine / Avalon
