Agatha Christie and husband Max Mallowan's final resting place. Agatha Christie is buried in Cholsey because she lived in the nearby Winterbrook House (near Wallingford) for many years and regularly attended St. Mary's Church in Cholsey, where she and her husband, Max Mallowan, were eventually buried. The couple chose a plot in the churchyard of St. Mary's, where they are now peacefully resting.
