Officers in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, are trying to identify the suspect who was dressed in full Scooby-Doo brown spotted fancy dress. The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday, June 22, at a convenience store. According to Tuscaloosa Police, the break-in happened at around 3:45 a.m., triggering the store's alarm system catching him on CCTV camera. The suspect paired the suit with a green ski mask and used a duffel bag to carry off his contraband. It included a haul of cash and coins. A police spokesperson joked with a witness appeal: "Hey gang! We need your help solving a mystery. "This individual in a Scooby-Doo suit broke into the Quick Stop on Highway 82 in Duncanville. "Officers responded to the store after the security alarm activated at 3:45 a.m. Sunday.” Referring to Scooby's love of Scooby Snack dog treats, they added: ""The suspect took cash and coins, but no snacks.
