Picture MUST credit: Liquid Death Black Sabbath rock star Ozzy Osbourne is letting fans get hold of his DNA. He has teamed up with US beverage maker Liquid Death for a limited-edition run of ten cans of low-cal of iced tea. The 76-year-old Paranoid singer sipped from each of the tins , leaving his saliva on them. The cans, with his DNA in the saliva, were then crushed, signed by the star, then put on sale in a see-through capsule for $450 USD / €390 euros each. The company says the Infinitely Recyclable Ozzy cans were sealed in lab-grade display cases and sold out almost instantly. Each holds a trace of Ozzy's saliva, preserved for posterity—or cloning. Liquid Death teased fans might recreate their own Ozzy "once technology and federal law permit.” In 2024, the British born vocalist fronted a campaign for tLiquid Death's powdered electrolyte mix, Death Dust. On July 5, Ozzy is set to reunite with the all original Black Sabbath lineup in their UK home town of Birmingham for a farewell concert called Back to the Beginning. Despite health issues including a Parkinson's diagnosis and multiple surgeries he told fans: "This is my full stop.” A Liquid Death spokesperson said :”Ozzy Osbourne is 1 of 1.
