Picture MUST credit: NBC Kill Bill star Uma Thurman has told how the first time she was recognised in the street as a movie star a fan confused her with Oscar winning actress Jodie Foster. Uma, 55, is relieving the samurai sword play from the Quentin Tarantino 2003 classic and its acclaimed 2004 follow-up in a new movie. She plays the nemesis of Charlize Theron in Old Guard 2, a sequel about a group of immortal mercenaries. Thurman revealed she is still thrilled that she got mistaken for Silence of the Lambs awards winner Foster. Appearing on US TV programme The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon the hist asked her if she remembered the first time she was recognised in the street and asked for an autograph. She replied: "I actually do. I had the most honourable first recognition. "Someone walked up to me and they said, ‘Oh, my God, are you Jodie Foster?' "And I was lso honoured. I was like, ‘Oh, my God I love her too. " ‘You just made my whole career to be mistaken for Jodie Foster.'”
