Une publication qui a d'abord été postée sur le compte personnel de Donald Trump sur Truth Social, puis sur celui de la Maison-Blanche sur X (anciennement Twitter) quelques jours seulement après que le Républicain a déclaré « J'aimerais être pape » lors d'une interview. Un photomontage qui a vivement fait réagir la communauté catholique, poussant le président à affirmer qu'il n'avait « rien à voir avec » ce photomontage. « Je n'y suis pour rien », a ainsi clamé Donald Trump lors d'une séance de questions-réponses dans le Bureau ovale. « Quelqu'un a inventé une photo de moi habillé comme le pape et l'a diffusée sur Internet. Ce n'est pas moi qui l'ai fait, je n'ai aucune idée d'où elle vient – peut-être était-ce une IA. Mais je n'en ai aucune idée », a-t-il encore insisté. The photomontage sparked a strong reaction from the Catholic community, prompting the president to assert that he had "nothing to do with" the photomontage. "I had nothing to do with it," Donald Trump proclaimed during a question-and-answer session in the Oval Office. "Someone made up a picture of me dressed as the Pope and put it on the internet." "I didn't do it, I have no idea where it came from - maybe it was an AI. But I have no idea," he insisted. Yet Donald Trump is well known for his love of artificial intelligence.
