Pictures must credit: Orient Express Luxury travel company Orient Express has unveiled its first Italian made train and it will exclusively tour the country. Called La Dolce Vita Orient Express, it will offer eight curated itineraries blending art, landscapes, and three-star Michelin cuisine. It is a tie-up with the country's luxury hospitality company Arsenale. The train will have a dedicated passenger lounge at Rome's Ostiense Station. The inaugural journey, scheduled for April 4th is titled "Tastes of Tuscan Vineyards" and will take guests to the heart of the area's wine growing industry. The train offers eight exclusive itineraries across14 Italian regions, tailored for discerning international travellers. The Dolce Vita has 31 cabins, 18 suites, 12 deluxe cabins and the signature La Dolce Vita Suite. The train is the result of a meticulous restoration and design process of Z1 Italian model carriages, each reimagined through a major investment that drew on the technical and artisanal excellence of Southern Italy, specialising in railway craftsmanship and design, with work carried out between Brindisi and Palermo. This innovative project marks the creation of Italy's first private luxury rail fleet, which will ultimately comprise six bespoke trains. Picture supplied by JLPPA
