Pictures must credit: ABC The White Lotus TV actress Michelle Monaghan has said she has never starred in anything that has caused so much speculation. The 49-year-old appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Live talk show in the USA to discuss the hit black comedy series, now in its third season. She plays a famous actress named Jaqueline who takes her two best friends to the luxury Thailand resort where the drama is set. Asked if it was fun by being on a show where everybody wants to know what's going on, she replied: "For over 20 years I've been in this industry and I have never been a part of something as fun as this.” Kimmel commented: "The bulk of the conversation about the show, especially from women, is how much they relate to that idea of three women who are really close friends, old friends, breaking off into groups of two and talking and gossiping about the other one.” Monaghan replied that when filming with the two friends played by Leslie Bibb, 50, and Carrie Coon, 44, three thought initially their roles were dull. She explained: "I got to be honest with you when we were shooting it Leslie Bib, Carrie and I were thinking gosh, look at these other story lines like the incest and all this other stuff that's going on. "We're like we seem a little boring but the reality is I think people have really taken to it because it is very relatable.”
