Pictures must credit: GMA Amanda Knox, the US student wrongly convicted of killing her British flatmate while studying in Italy, has told how watching wild rabbits helped keep her sane in jail. And she has revealed she is gradually telling her young daughter of her prison ordeal. Knox , now 37, was jailed then later acquitted of the 2007 murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher in Perugia in 2007 along with her boyfriend at the time. A known burglar, Rudy Guede, was later arrested, after his bloody fingerprints were found on Kercher's possessions. He was convicted of murder and sentenced to 30 years in jail. But this past January Italy's highest court upheld her slander conviction for falsely accusing her former boss of Meredith's murder. While she doesn't face any additional jail time Knox, a mother of two small children, is still working to clear her name completely, Now a journalist and broadcaster in the US, she is telling more of her story in a new book called Free - My Search for Meaning and appeared on the Good Morning America show to discuss it. She was asked if she spoke with her children, daughter Eureka, three, and son Echo aged 18 months about the experience. She said she initially thought she would be having this conversation when Eureka was but she had already asked questions. Picture supplied by JLPPA
