NEW YORK DOLLS performing live at KOKO in Camden Town London on 19.04.2010 an american rock band who formed in 1971 and subsequently re-formed in 2004 with three original member two of whom david johnson on vocals and sylvain sylvain on guitar/bass continue today with steve conte on guitar,sami yaffa on bass and brian delaney on drums completing the present line up. The bands protopunk sound prefigigured much of what was to come in the punk rock era their visual style also influencing many glam rock metal bands "cause i sez so" their fourth studio album was released in 2009., Credit:jason havord / Avalon
