Picture MUST credit: Warner Bros. Here's a first look at the trailer of big screen gangster specialist Robert De Niro playing two rival Mafia chiefs in his latest film. The movie, called The Alto Knights dramatises the careers of two New York Mob bosses, Frank Costello and Vito Genovese. Godfather star De Niro, 81, dons the prosthetics to play both characters as their older selves in the film. In real life, Costello and Genovese started as Italian immigrants getting involved in the 1920s prohibition era before heading up two of New York's major crime families. But they became enemies when Costello hoped to retire and was victim of an assassination attempt in 1957 by a Genovese hitman. Instead he became an FBI informer.
