The self-exiled Duke of Sussex is given a beck tattoo by American singer Jelly Roll who has been signed to sing at the closing ceremony of the event on February 16 next year in Vancouver, Canada. A promo film shows Harry, 40, sitting in a tattoo parlour chair at celebrity New York City tattoo parlour, the East Side Ink waiting for Jelly Roll, 39, to appear. He thinks the location was chosen because the star loves tattoos. The singer, wearing a baseball cap walks in and sits down next to Harry telling him: "So pleased to meet you. I am such a big fan. "Do you know I could not believe it when they called me and told me Prince Harry wanted to get a tattoo today and he wanted me to give him his first tattoo.” Harry immediately looks worried and says , "No, no, no.” He then notices Jelly Roll , real name Jason DeFord, is wearing tattooist gloves. He asks why and the star replies: "We're giving you a tattoo about the Invictus Games.” Harry replies: "No, I came here to ask you to do the Invictus Games. "There's no tattoo in this. I can't get a tattoo.” The R&B artist then says " I'll play the Invictus Games , you just let me give you your first tattoo.” Harry slightly hesitates but then gives in and says: "Alright, screw it. Let's go. Where do you want it.” Harry offers his back or his "ass” But Jelly Roll says :” We gotta go for the neck. Nobody wants to see your ass Harry. "This is for the world.” Harry agrees but just before Jelly Roll starts he asks him:” Have you done this before? " He responds: "Practically, pretty much, Trust me. You don't want no one doing this but me.” Harry insists: " A small one, yeah ?” Jelly Roll assures him: "Like a baby getting his first hair cut.” But as he works on Harry's next the royal says: "I should have had it done on. My ass.” Harry then shows signs of pain as Jelly Roll gets to work and says "it hurts” But Jelly Roll carries on saying: "This is why they love you.” When it is finished and he shows the Prince the masterpiece, Harry says:” What's that” He is horrified to discover the inking features Jelly Roll's I AM logo with his name also written underneath.
