The 78-year-old singer starred on the Jimmy Fallon talk show in the USA to publicise her new biography called Cher: The Memoir. And Fallon, 50, persuaded the Believe hit maker to create a typical variety TV show from the 80s. The Tim and Tam Variety Hour saw the pair dress up in different outfits to do some hip-hop, river dancing and disco jiving. Except, they hid their legs behind a screen which displayed the legs of pro dancers giving the impression the two stars were doing the moves. Fallon explained: "Cher and I were talking before the show about all the history in this building, this studio. "It turns out one of our favourite shows was taped back here in the '80s. "It was a variety show. It was called "The Tim and Tam Variety Hour,” and it was hosted by a duo named Tim and Tam. "They were famous for their dance routines. "It turns out one of them was accused of fake dancing — using someone else's legs. Cher chipped in :” It wasn't Tam !” Fallon added: "It really tore them apart, though. "Some would say Tim was the good one, had all the talent.
