Picture MUST credit: Roadside Attractions Here's a first look at Pamela Anderson playing an ageing Las Vegas dancer whose show is closing after 30 years. The 57-year-old former Baywatch babe ditches the swimsuit for the features and rhinestone outfits for her a poignant role that brings tears and heartache to her character Shelly. The stark trailer even begins with her staring at into camera and trying unsuccessfully to right back tears as a curtain rises. But she is professional enough to put on a smile for the audience. The film is directed by Gia Coppola, the granddaughter of Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola. The movie, called The Last Showgirl, also stars Jamie Lee Curtis as her best friend while Dave Bautista is the show's boss. A spokesperson for studio Roadside Attractions said: "The Last Showgirl stars Pamela Anderson as Shelly, a glamorous showgirl who must plan for her future when her show abruptly closes after a 30-year run. "Jamie Lee Curtis as Shelly's best friend, brings her own unique interpretation and brilliance to the story. The movie also features a new original song Beautiful That Way, sung by pop superstar Miley Cyrus.
