Pictures must credit: StudioCanal Here's a first look at Angelina Jolie as legendary operatic singer Maria Callas. The movie Maria tells the operatic life story of one of the world's greatest sopranos. The US-born Greek is best known for her tumultuous relationship with Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis who eventually left her for assassinated US president John F Kennedy's widow Jackie. She eventually died aged just 53 in 1977. A new teaser trailer for Maria shows Julie, 49, in colour and black and white scenes. The only speaking comes as she takes an empty stage for a rehearsal and is asked by her pianist what she wants to sing. After the brief trailer scenes, it cuts back to the original opening scene and she replies: " Not today.” Onassis is played by veteran Turkish actor Haluk Bilginer.
