La Fondation Tara Océan est la première Fondation Reconnue d'Utilité Publique (FRUP) consacrée à l'Océan en France. Elle mène depuis 2003 des expéditions scientifiques pour étudier la biodiversité marine, ainsi qu'observer et anticiper les impacts du changement climatique et des pollutions. The Tara Ocean Foundation is the first Recognized Public Utility Foundation (FRUP) dedicated to the Ocean in France.
