Pictures must credit: US Air Force Here's a first look at the US Air Force's new stealth bomber in flight. Following its formal unveiling in 2022, the B-21 Raider has begun flight testing at the country's Edwards Air Force Base in California. A spokesperson said it is making progress toward becoming "the backbone of the U.S. Air Force bomber fleet.” The B-21 is a long-range, highly survivable, penetrating strike stealth bomber that will incrementally replace the current B-1 and B-2 aircraft. It has a wingspan of 40 m and weighs 31,751 kg and is able to fly at MACH speeds. The new images show the bomber in its hangar, landing with wheels down, and a third of it in full flight.
