London, UK, 08 May 2024: Sir Stirling's son, Elliott Stirling Moss and his daughter at the thanksgiving service for Sir Stirling Moss's life and work at Westminster Abbey, with a display of vintage sports cars including the Mille Miglia-winning Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR 722, a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing Coupe and a Mercedes-Benz W 196. Sir Jackie Stewart and Simon Taylor will lead tributes, and a reading will be given by Sir Stirling's son, Elliott Stirling Moss. Prayers will be said by David Coulthard and Derek Bell. At the start of the service, Damon Hill, the racing driver's godson, will process Sir Stirling's white helmet and ten British Racing Driving Club Gold Stars down the Nave. Displayed next to the High Altar will be the Monaco 1961 trophy, considered to be one of the most brilliant of all of his 16 grand prix victories., Credit:Paul Grover / Avalon
