The Netflix film, titled Atlas, sees the 54-year-old actress and singer star as Atlas Shepherd, a brilliant data analyst with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence. She joins a mission to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past. She must hunt down an artificial intelligence being in human form known as Harlan that was originally engineered to advance humanity but went rogue sparking a world war. But her only hope of saving the future of humanity from the AI brain called Smith which controls the robot she is teamed with. Smith tells her its primary job is to keep her alive.
